Large Cap Value

Why Invest in Large Cap Value?

Focuses on mature, lower-valuation companies with stable cash flows, solid balance sheets, and dividend income. Large Cap Value provides equity exposure with lower valuation multiples and potential downside protection relative to growth stocks.

Implementation Strategy

Select broad, low-cost large-cap value index funds like VTV, SCHV, or SPYV for core value exposure. IWD tracks the Russell 1000 Value index with a slightly higher expense ratio. AVLV offers systematic active management with a factor focus on deep value and profitability.

Tax & Account Location Guidance

Tax-Efficient: Can be held in taxable accounts or IRAs due to qualified dividends and minimal capital gains distributions for ETFs. Will generally distribute more dividends than a growth focused company/etf.
