Large Cap Growth / Total Stock Market

Why Invest in Large Cap Growth / Total Stock Market?

Broad diversification with the highest historical long-term expected return of any major liquid asset class.

Implementation Strategy

Use any of the non-leveraged broad market ETFs as they are virtually identical (99–100% correlated). QQQ is based on which stocks happen to be in the NASDAQ exchange, which is a strange construction, but it has a slighly lower 0.91 correlation due to its technology concentration. Only use leveraged products like UPRO very carefully and for a clearly defined purpose.

Tax & Account Location Guidance

Tax-Efficient: Can be held in taxable accounts or IRAs due to qualified dividends and no capital gains for ETFs.
